Where is your heart?

Yesterday while volunteering I encountered a young lady that needed to be encouraged. This young lady for some reason decided to tell me her story which gave some insight on why there was a look of sadness and despair in her eyes. She began to cry as I spoke with her and told her that her mistakes aren’t what matters, her heart is what matters to God. She cried for minutes which seemed like an hour in the middle of the facility. As I comforted her I told her that I would be in continuous prayer for her and her family. As we get in the full holiday swing, let’s remember the people that are carrying heavy burdens and feelings of loneliness. You never know what the next person may be going through. I ask you this question, where is your heart? Can God trust your heart to care for his people? Choose love, choose kindness, choose humility…….Be safe, be blessed, and know that I love you. ❤️

Level Up

Sometimes we come to a place in our lives where we have to leave our comfort zone and do something different. We have to face our fears, our future, and the purpose that God has given us. Often when we make this decision the enemy will begin to attack like never before. Don’t allow the distraction to deter you from what has already been given to you. The devils job is to keep you off kilter. Stay focused! God will never bring you to a place He’s not able and willing to keep you. Be encouraged and know that your BEST days are ahead of you. Monday a close friend sent me a song and the words truly resonated in my spirit. The song is a testament of a young lady’s life. It was sent to me because it is parallel to something similar in my life. It’s amazing the things that you may have said or done that may have impacted the life of someone else. I’m so grateful to have received the song because I am different. When you are different and you KNOW that your purpose is much greater than you could ever imagine you walk boldly in being different. I say this to remind you that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with being who and what you are. Stand in your purpose and pray diligently for guidance and direction from God. He will not lead you astray. Learn to be exactly who you are. God created you for greatness, now walk in it! Be safe, be blessed, and have a wonderful Wednesday! I love you ❤️.

Sometimes stepping out of your comfort zone means doing things different in order to reflect change in your life. I am constantly in prayer asking God to mold me into the woman of purpose that he’s called me to be. God never promised that life would be easy. What HE did promise was to never leave or forsake you. Your worrying has never changed or made your situation better. All it ever did was make me lose my self worth, my focus, and a good whole lot of sleep! Game OVER! Learning to trust HIM in every situation makes life SO much easier. To whom MUCH is given, MUCH is required. It’s a new day, it’s a new season. Have a wonderful day, be safe, be blessed. Just when you think you’ve made it the devil will remind you that he is still busy. Busy causing destruction and definitely busy causing division and confusion. Usually I am the encourager, yet today I’m needing to encourage myself. I pray, but I still worry. I believe, but my faith sometimes grows weary. I trust, yet still can’t see the plan. Even the strong get tired. We have issues and insecurities like everyone else. We go through things and cry silently because our purpose is bigger than our struggles. Today is one of those days that I know God will have to fix it. I pray that your day is blessed. Just in case you didn’t know, I love you. Happy Tuesday!

Choices

Life is all about choices. We choose what we accept, what we allow, and ultimately how we feel. Sometimes the choice doesn’t come easy but it’s what is necessary. Oftentimes I find myself in the middle of the road in all these areas. In a state of the unknown. What I find to be most comforting in these times is the fact that I know God loves me, and I know that he cares. With him I am never alone and will never be forsaken. Be encouraged today and know that God is always in your midst. Even when you can’t see him, trust HIM. Be safe, be blessed, and know that you are loved. ❤️

Don’t be Distracted!

When you are on your purpose there will always be a distraction. Just know that the devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy! Those who are called never have an idle moment to spare. We have to remember and maintain our focus. Our focus has to be to keep our hearts, our minds, and our spirits stayed on HIM! We are HIS creatures and made in HIS image! Don’t you know that “distractions” don’t want to see you grow? They don’t want to see you prosper. When transformation begins to take place there will always be something or someone to remind you of how far you’ve come. You will be tempted to go back to the way you used to do and handle things. Stay focused! Know that when God creates the new and improved you, you NEVER HAVE TO RETURN TO THE OLD YOU! Lol, people have a way of reminding us of our old ways. Don’t be disheartened or surprised. Smile and thank God you are NOT who and what you used to be! God has created you for greatness, now walk in it! Be safe, be blessed, and know that you are loved! ❤️

I woke up this morning with a spirit of praise and thanksgiving. Sometimes I wake out of my sleep worrying about things and I have to remind myself of all the things that I have to be thankful for. In those moments I begin to praise God in my sleep. Sounds strange huh? Well, when you have a relationship with the father there is no “appropriate” time to converse with him. I have found our best moments are those when everyone is sleeping and there is NO movement. He has my undivided attention and I have his. This is when he does his best work within me. I am unconscious enough not to be disturbed but coherent enough to know what’s taking place. There are NO distractions! My point in all this is, your relationship with God is vital. When you’re in him and allow him to lead and guide you life is so much easier. Trust him with everything! He will NOT disappoint you. Be safe, be blessed, and know that you are loved. ❤️

It’s never easy to see certain situations from the eyes of someone else. We often try to impose our thoughts and beliefs on others as they make decisions that impact their lives. Being a friend and offering support doesn’t always mean give advice. We have to learn to pray for people and stand in the gap when they need us most. The best advice we can offer a person is to take EVERYTHING they are going through to God in prayer. There is nothing too hard for God. Stop giving advice and start praying for those around you. That is what they need the most. Be safe, be blessed, and know that you are loved! ❤️ Pray for your friends and your enemies, you’ll be blessed!

Here’s to another day, another opportunity to get it right. Each of us carry our own struggles and sometimes that can be quite overwhelming. The blessing in those struggles is that when we wake each day we have been granted another chance to get it right. If you are reading this you are blessed. Just because things may not appear to be perfect or going the way you thought or think they should does NOT mean you aren’t blessed. Somebody, somewhere, didn’t wake up this morning. There are families around the world mourning the loss of a loved one. Remember that even in our struggles and our pain God has the power to change our situation.
