In order to keep the right frame of mind and focus I spend a lot of time listening to the word. I listen to a variety of people from all walks of life. Yesterday, I listened to Sarah Jakes Roberts who spoke on the topic “Change Your Core”. As I listened to her I was reminded that when you are called to purpose that doesn’t mean that the challenges you face will become easy. In fact, you will be tested and challenged even more. The difference is that you no longer allow yourself to revert to your default setting. You see changing your core means that you have to be intentional about your life and the situations you allow. If you aren’t careful you will find yourself back in a default state of being. You see, I can no longer allow the old me to make decisions. Instead, I must first remember who I am, who’s I am, and who I was called to be. This requires prayer, practice, and a purpose driven mindset. I say all this to remind you that God never takes you to a place that HE won’t keep you. Living in your purpose won’t always be easy and it definitely won’t be always be comfortable, but stay the course. Have a terrific Tuesday and know that I love you! ❤️ Be safe, be blessed!
