One thing the late Pastor Vickie McDaniel taught me is that everybody ain’t your friend, and everybody ain’t rooting for you. Not because they don’t want to but because they’ve not matured enough (healed from their own issues) to know how to. She said to love them and be good to them because that is what God requires. They key to doing this is to always be mindful of the space you allow people to reside in your life. This is and will always be key to maintaining peace and your ability to manage those that you encounter. It’s funny how things come full circle……..
I’m so glad that I serve a God that sits high and looks low. Because of HIM I can face any and everything that comes my way. Sometimes I don’t understand it but what I DO know is that I will get through it. You see, most of what the enemy fails to realize is that they can attack you all they want. It’s that FULL ARMOR OF GOD that they need to be afraid of! Every morning I pray and ask God to cover me and those closest to me. I ask him for wisdom in every situation. Don’t you think for a second that HE doesn’t hear his child and answers when she calls. Be careful who you play with and whose battlefield you choose to walk on. God is my protector and HE will fight every demon (person or thing) that rises against me and mine! With God, there is no fear, and I have no fear. Stop wasting your time and energy on things not suited for PURPOSE! Be safe, be blessed, and know that you are loved! ❤️
Standing in your truth and accepting what is can be painful. While facing your life and unseen future can be a bit scary at times, you have to remain faithful and grounded in God’s word. With everything going on in your life stay mindful of what’s important. Don’t get caught up in the emotional battle of what was, yet focus you attention on God and his promises. I struggled with writing anything today as I am forced to face my mother’s birthday and she is no longer here. You see death brings about a variety of feelings and emotions. Topped with life if can be a destructive internal battle. But! It doesn’t have to be. Stand in your truth, allow yourself to be broken, and know that your BEST days are ahead of you. Be safe, be blessed, and know that I love you. ❤️
There will be a few setbacks. Just because you’ve decided to work on you does not mean it’s going to be an easy process. There will be times when all is well and BOOM! An emotional setback. You’re human, it will happen. But KEEP GOING! There is no growth without a little pain and discomfort. These are the times that you should recall your purpose, thank God for the lesson, and remember how far you’ve come. Anything worth having is worth working for and waiting for. Put in the work, and watch how God blesses. Everyday you are one step closer. Have an awesome day. Be safe, be blessed, and know that I love you!❤️
Enjoy yourself. Find ways to keep your mind busy. Sometimes we have to develop a new norm. I find evenings are the most difficult times for me. So, I have adjusted my schedule to include new things to do. Your mind will only do what it has been trained to do. Be careful to not fall into old, unhealthy habit’s. That is a trap of the enemy!!! The enemy doesn’t want you to heal and be happy. He does his best work when you remain stuck, unwilling to change, and uninspired about your future. Surround yourself with positive, uplifting people. Engage in healthy activities that promote and push you towards your purpose. Exercise. Taking care of your body is just as important as taking care of your mind. Get out and move. Lastly, continue to pray. Oftentimes when we begin to feel better our pray life drops off. BIG mistake! Your prayer life is just as important when you are “good” as it is when you’re in the valley. I hope your day is filled with lots of fun and laughter. Be safe, be blessed, and know that I love you. ❤️
Therapy works! I don’t know what is better the tears released or being able to talk and not be judged or ridiculed for being who you are. This process hasn’t been the easiest but it has definitely reaffirmed for me who I am and what I am. I am a fearless woman of God and I can do all things through Christ who is my strength. I may not look like, act like, or talk like others may think I should or desire but that is their problem NOT mine. If God be for me, who shall stand against me? 13 more days to this 21 day process and I couldn’t be more proud of myself. Trust the process and know this too shall pass. Weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning. Morning does come. Be safe, be blessed, and know that I love you. ❤️ Happy Friday!
Worship Wednesday. When I think about worship I reflect on what I spend my time on and how. I think about my thoughts, my actions, and how they reflect my praise and worship. Often I find myself guilty of not allowing my actions to reflect the praise I have for the God I worship. Truly when you’ve been blessed there is no need to boast or find fame in your glory. But for HIS glory our worship should be consistent, regular, and for REAL. Let HIM shine through your worship. It’s because of HIM that I SMILE. Choose to Worship. Have a wonderful Wednesday. Be safe, be blessed, and know that I love you!
Lets make today Talkin’ Tuesday. I challenge you to only talk about things that are positive and uplifting. If you find that hard to do, you (including me) need a little work. All too often we complain and talk about the negative things in life. Don’t you know that life and death are in the power of the tongue? Speak LIFE! Be safe, be blessed, and know that I love you! Happy Tuesday.
Lately, I hear my momma saying over and over, “It’s prayer time Saint Mark!” Nobody could say that like she could. Filled with fire and the Holy Spirit she knew what that meant. You may not be at Saint Mark, but you know that you’ve missed the MARK! You see in every situation we have to learn “it’s prayer time”. In the good, during the bad, and in our contentment, there should always be time to pray. Your relationship with God is the most important relationship for you to have. Spending time with HIM is time well spent. Get to know God, spend some time with HIM, and most important remember “it’s prayer time”.
