It’s make me over Monday! Sometimes in life we need a fresh start, a new beginning, a make over. Everyday we should make the decision to be better than our yesterday. We try, we fail, we try again. But don’t give up, keep pressing your way. Failure is NOT an option! Now lets get it. Be safe, be blessed, and know that I love you. ❤️ Happy Monday!!!
Let’s make today Forgiving Friday. We’ve all experienced hurt feelings, a broken heart, or some type of disappointment. You’ve carried the weight of those feelings for far too long. It’s time to let it go. Move beyond whatever happened and forgive. Forgive that person and most importantly forgive yourself. You will feel better, I promise! Happy Friday! Be safe, be blessed, and know that you are loved.❤️
Worship Wednesday. When I think about worship I reflect on what I spend my time on and how. I think about my thoughts, my actions, and how they reflect my praise and worship. Often I find myself guilty of not allowing my actions to reflect the praise I have for the God I worship. Truly when you’ve been blessed there is no need to boast or find fame in your glory. But for HIS glory our worship should be consistent, regular, and for REAL. Let HIM shine through your worship. It’s because of HIM that I SMILE. Choose to Worship. Be safe, be blessed, and know that you are loved.❤️
All it takes is one minute, sometimes seconds to be kind to someone else. Sometimes random acts of kindness aren’t as random as they seem. The problem is we’ve grown so accustomed to not being kind the simplest of things seems like a kind act. Practice being kind. When we are unkind, our hearts usually aren’t where they need to be. Start today, working on your heart. Wherever your heart is, your actions will follow. I hope you have a marvelous Monday. Be safe, be blessed, and know that you are loved. ❤️
Have you ever experienced heartbreak and despair? Ever wondered why you are going through and can’t seem to catch a break? I can remember a few times in my life where I didn’t know whether I was going to live or die. I can remember being so broken that I wasn’t sure life was even worth living. I was consumed with betrayal, sadness, and grief. You see when you lose a loved one you never go back to the person you were before. When you suffer a major loss, you never seem to find the pieces to put yourself back together. What you experience is a season of rebirth and new beginnings.
I believe that we are sometimes forced into these seasons of growth and maturity so that God has our attention. He doesn’t do this just because, but for a greater good. Your tests, your trials, your valley experiences aren’t always about you and for you. Sometimes it’s so the person watching your story will have the faith to get through their journey.
Be grateful in every situation. You never know who you might be helping.
As I navigate this phase of my life I am learning to exercise my faith. It became practice to say “have faith”, but not be accountable for actually exercising it. For years I have walked in fear, doubt, and sometimes shame. This is NOT the way God wants us to live. God wants us to live an abundant life! This type of life requires us to trust him in ALL things. Today, I encourage you to exercise your faith, trust God with your life, and know that HE has you covered! Be safe, be blessed, and know that you are loved. ❤️
Life is all about SEASONS! The seasons of our lives are ever changing as a constant reminder that God is in control. I’ve learned to embrace the seasons and to trust God’s timing. His timing is always right on time! Tonight I am grateful for the seasons and I look forward to the change. The BEST in my life is yet to come! Be safe, be blessed, and know that you are loved! ❤️
As the seasons begin to change I am reminded that change is inevitable. I’ve changed, relationships change, people change, and our priorities change. It used to make me uncomfortable when people change, but I’ve come to realize it’s not always them. In fact, most often I’m the one that has changed. You see, in order to grow we have to be uncomfortable. When you’re uncomfortable, you’re changing! Change doesn’t have to be a negative experience. It may be painful, but God is with us every step of the way. I no longer live in fear of the uncertainty of life and other people. Those are things I can’t control. Instead I live everyday desiring God to consume more of me. When my focus is on him I have less time and opportunity for frivolous things. I am learning to TRUST the Process, leaving all my cares and concerns to HIM. HE knows, and HE cares! Have a wonderful Wednesday and know that you are loved. ❤️Be safe, be blessed. It’s a NEW SEASON!
Sometimes we have to be reminded that being courageous is directly tied to the level and intensity of your faith. I am at a place in my life where I am choosing to conquer my fears and trust God! This takes both the courage to stay the course and the faith to know that God will do exactly what HE says He is going to do. Courage manifested is FAITH. With God, ALL things are possible. No longer do I have to live in fear. Instead I choose LIFE one day at a time. Be patient with your process and don’t quit! Have a tremendous Thursday and know that you are loved! ❤️ Be safe, blessed.
I always know when God wants my attention because HE disrupts my sleeping pattern. When this first began to happen was after my parents died. I was unable to sleep for days on end and I just assumed it was apart of the grieving process. As days, months, and now a couple years have passed, I have been able to return to a somewhat normal sleep cycle. But! At times HE still requires more of my time and attention. I live a busy, always got something going on type of life. On top of that I’m a thinker so quite often I find myself “resting” but my brain is still in motion. God knows exactly how to disrupt my pattern. HE does this generally because there’s something in my life that is going to shift and requires my full attention. I’ve learned that when I am in a season of shifting it is important for me to pay close attention to everything around me. This is when I spend more time praying, reading my word, and praising my way through! It doesn’t matter what happens in the end because HE is always with me and HE will perfect everything that concerns me. Don’t give in, don’t give up! God is always with you. Have a wonderful day! Be safe, be blessed, and know that you are loved. ❤️
