This is the day that the Lord has made and I WILL rejoice and be glad in it. Just a little reminder to myself! No matter what it may look like, I know that God has a plan and a purpose. Yesterday was one of those days where I just couldn’t seem to catch a break. One thing after another, I continued to be tested. It wasn’t until I was reminded that every assignment isn’t always about me, that my day seemed to shift. He reminded me that God sometimes puts “assignments” in your life to grow and develop you. It’s not always comfortable, but it’s necessary. Even when you’re uncomfortable, God is still working it out for your good. For this I am grateful….Stay the course and know that God is working it out. Happy Thursday! Be safe, be blessed and know that I love you. ❤️

Let God handle it!

As hard as it is sometimes, we have to learn to just let things be! This is SO very hard for me. You see, I’m a fixer! I want to FIX everybody! My hearts true desire is for people to love and be loved. For them to see their own worth and value. I am by nature a nurturer so I struggle with people that are suffering. As I move forward in my ministry I’m learning that everybody don’t want to be fixed! Everybody don’t want my help! Everybody has to process in their own way! Lastly, I’ve learned that after I’ve done all that God requires of me to leave the rest to HIM! I can’t keep walking around carrying everybody’s mess! Some people feel most comfortable in chaos and messy situations. Oh no, not me! I’m learning to pray for them, and leave it all up to the Lord. It’s truly above me! I thank God for that morning revelation! Now y’all pray that I am consistent in allowing God to move and not relying on self! Happy Wednesday everybody. Sunday reset……

Sundays are always a day of worship and reset. Today, as I sat and reflected on the past week and prepared for the week ahead I realized that my season is changing. Process plans and endeavors for the future reminded me that sometimes “elevation requires separation”! The place that God wants you to go doesn’t always allow for those in your comfort zone. Not only are people being separated but old habits, old issues, and quite frankly old attitudes! In order to be a boss in my world, you have to pray, prepare, press forward. Just when you think you can’t go any further, keep going. In the moment it may feel as though you are about to drown, keep swimming. When all has failed and you’ve run out of options, keep striving! I know we talk about this all the time but seasons DO CHANGE people! What seems hopeless right now is just the beginning of your breakthrough. God will keep his promise to you. Trust God

Life is so amazing. In everything we experience God always provides an opportunity for you to allow him in. Sometimes we get so busy focusing on our situation that we forget the promise. God’s promise to us is that he will never leave us nor forsake us. I don’t know about you, but I’m glad about that. I’ve been blessed to have a great husband, great kids, great friends, and my family: they’re the BEST! But nothing beats having God by your side. He is never failing, always available, and shows up right on time! Stop allowing your situation to get you down. When you feel lonely, trust God. When you are hurt, trust God. When you are afraid, trust God. When…….you get the point. In everything, TRUST GOD! I pray you have a wonderful Wednesday. Be safe, be blessed, and know that you are loved.

It’s just a test!

In order to keep the right frame of mind and focus I spend a lot of time listening to the word. I listen to a variety of people from all walks of life. Yesterday, I listened to Sarah Jakes Roberts who spoke on the topic “Change Your Core”. As I listened to her I was reminded that when you are called to purpose that doesn’t mean that the challenges you face will become easy. In fact, you will be tested and challenged even more. The difference is that you no longer allow yourself to revert to your default setting. You see changing your core means that you have to be intentional about your life and the situations you allow. If you aren’t careful you will find yourself back in a default state of being. You see, I can no longer allow the old me to make decisions. Instead, I must first remember who I am, who’s I am, and who I was called to be. This requires prayer, practice, and a purpose driven mindset. I say all this to remind you that God never takes you to a place that HE won’t keep you. Living in your purpose won’t always be easy and it definitely won’t be always be comfortable, but stay the course. Have a terrific Tuesday and know that I love you! ❤️ Be safe, be blessed!
