This morning I am reminded of what can happen when you get distracted. When you get distracted you allow space for the enemy to occupy. The enemy can only occupy the space that you allow and invite him/her/it in. During times of uncertainty and chaos remember to stay focused! The plans and life that God has for you, for us, is much bigger than anything else. Stay focused on God and what HE’s doing in your life. As I watched the news this morning I immediately began to worry about my children and what was going to happen if things get worse. But as the music played in the background I was reminded that the God I serve has never left me nor forsaken me. At that moment I was reminded to STAY FOCUSED! Check on your family and those connected to you. Happy Tuesday. Be safe, be blessed, and remember that you are loved! ❤️
With everything going on in the world I am reminded that God is the keeper of my life and my soul. Although the days ahead seem more uncertain, they always have been. Our days here on this earth are numbered. They were the day we were born. God didn’t give us a spirit of fear. Yet he reminds us daily to live life and live it abundantly. While we take cautious actions to keep ourselves and those connected to us safe let’s not forget who is TRULY in control! God is the God of ALL THINGS! This COVID-19 is NOT bigger than God. Be safe, be blessed, and know that you are loved. ❤️
Just finished watching a message from #TheLoveLetter series by Bishop T.D. Jakes. What a revelatory moment! Sometimes you have to suffer and labor a while before you are able to pass the test. But in the meanwhile, allow love to lead. Watching, fighting, praying, and most of all working to lead in LOVE. Sometimes that will mean long suffering. Just know that it won’t be in vain and that just like you see the truth in others actions, so does God. Love anyway……Be safe, be blessed, and know that you are loved.
It’s Monday, a new day, a fresh start! Rest your mind in knowing yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not promised, and all you have is today, this hour, and this moment. Don’t waste time worrying about things and people that don’t matter. God has placed you in a position to rise above any and everything that comes your way. Stop thinking that people owe you something. They don’t owe you, you owe it to yourself! Be good to you! Have a marvelous Monday and know that you are loved! Be safe, be blessed.
Sitting in worship this morning I was reminded that “when God chooses you, you don’t get to choose your assignment”. Dr. Kneeland Brown also said that God will always provide a plan for you to do the work! This sermon couldn’t have come at a better time. I needed to be reminded that even though I get frustrated with the process, I can’t abandon God’s assignment. There will always be valley situations and frustrating times. It’s in those moments that I have to remain focused on What God has called ME to do. No longer can I allow my flesh and outside factors to interrupt HIS assignment. As hard as it is some days to leave my flesh behind, I will press forward. God is always willing to keep those that want to be kept. I desire to be kept! Thank you Dr. Brown for that reminder. It was right on time! Be safe, be blessed, and know that you are loved! Happy Sunday!
If I tell you today has been a day, I want you to believe just THAT! I am so glad that I have learned to process things in my life differently. As I’ve grown to discern certain things and allow God to guide certain areas of my life I’m noticing the enemy’s attacks just began to come like a flood. If he can’t get you one way he’ll attack another area. If that attempt doesn’t work he tries something different. It just keeps going. The victory in it all is that my faith and my joy no longer wavers. I acknowledge his attacks, declare the victory over every situation and I move on. If nothing else in life is constant, God is. In him I put my trust. Stop putting all your trust in man. Man will let you down. Remember, we are all imperfect people and sometimes will let each other down. Recognize, recover, forgive, repeat. We are all a work in progress. Just a little thought for this Thursday. Be safe, be blessed, and know that I love you! ❤️
“Frustration is a sign of investment. When you invest in something you have an expectation. Frustration is when disappointment goes in. Anytime you change the game, they get frustrated. Frustration unresolved will always lead to failure. Some of the greatest tests you’ll have is winning!”~TD Jakes
It is with a grateful heart that I say Happy New Year to all of you! If you’ve been blessed to read this blog, know that God has blessed you with another opportunity to get it right. We are so fortunate to have life and to be able to share life with those we love. So what are you going to do with this opportunity? My prayer is that you take advantage of this opportunity and allow God to guide you through the next days of your life. Life is never promised and we have to ensure that we are making the BEST of it. Start today living your life in a manner that will make HIM proud. Focus on those things that will align your life with Christ and watch how blessed you will be. A life with Christ is the best thing you can ever have! Be safe, be blessed and know that you are loved! ❤️
When you can be grateful for everything life has thrown at you, you know that there’s been growth. You’ve survived the worse of times and situations. While often feeling unworthy and all alone God always finds a way to show that there is LIFE after all this! As I look back over my life I am just thankful for God’s grace and his mercy. Without him I am nothing, but with him I am everything. While others may not appreciate who and what I am, I am grateful for the process. Be grateful for the things you go through. Learn to appreciate the pain, the hurt, and every disappointment. God has a plan and he has a purpose. Don’t allow your current situation to dictate your future. Stand firm in your faith and remember that with God all things are possible. Be safe, be blessed, and know that you are loved. ❤️
