Sitting in worship this morning I was reminded that “when God chooses you, you don’t get to choose your assignment”. Dr. Kneeland Brown also said that God will always provide a plan for you to do the work! This sermon couldn’t have come at a better time. I needed to be reminded that even though I get frustrated with the process, I can’t abandon God’s assignment. There will always be valley situations and frustrating times. It’s in those moments that I have to remain focused on What God has called ME to do. No longer can I allow my flesh and outside factors to interrupt HIS assignment. As hard as it is some days to leave my flesh behind, I will press forward. God is always willing to keep those that want to be kept. I desire to be kept! Thank you Dr. Brown for that reminder.
