I’m learning that not everybody should be allowed in your inner circle and space. You see, I have a tendency to want to help everybody. But what I’m realizing is that people don’t always want it. Sometimes you do yourself and that person more harm than good. When people aren’t ready to receive help, do the work to be better, and are resistant to change, you have nothing to work with. Instead of becoming frustrated, I’ve learned to pray for them and keep my peace. You see the older I get, the more I’ve realized how important my peace is. If I have nothing, I have that. God is the BEST solution to every problem and situation. There’s no harm in giving situations and people back to HIM. Not every assignment is for me to complete. Sometimes, my only job is to pray for them and leave it with God. I’m learning, and I thank God for a discerning spirit.
