As you go about your day take some time to reflect on where you are in your life. What is important to you? What takes precedence in your life? What and who do you value? Do these things align with God’s word and what HE has for you? When you’ve gotten all that out of the way, make a decision to shift. Move from mediocre to great, from average to excellent, and from wanting it to going after it! You can do anything you put your mind to. The problem is we want the prize, but don’t want the shift. The only thing stopping you from being great is YOU! Happy Monday, I love you all, be blessed!

But Joy!
Scripture tells us that “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”(Psalms 30:5) Sometimes it’s in our weeping that God reveals his greatest gifts. Just because HE doesn’t immediately remove you from your valley experience doesn’t mean that your joy isn’t coming. I believe that our valley experiences are designed to bring us closer to HIM. When we are in relation with HIM, we are able to receive the joy of the Lord. It’s in that HIM you will find your peace. It’s okay to weep, but never lose faith! Remember, God is always with you, even until the end. I love you all, happy Sunday, be blessed.
Be Still….
As we begin to wind down and reflect on last year and looking forward to next year, I am reminded that God has me exactly where HE wants me to be. Although uncomfortable, and at times uneasy, I know that everything is going to work out for my good. The Bible says “To whom much is given, much is required”. (Luke 12:48) Your life, and your sacrifice is much more than allowing temporal situations to impede on your purpose. It’s necessary to periodically evaluate your purpose, and it’s never too late to realign your focus. God gives us what we need, it’s our responsibility to act accordingly. When it gets rough just know you’re not alone. HE is always with you. Have a wonderful Saturday, I love you, be blessed!
Simple Reminders
Sometimes it takes mere discomfort and feelings of uncertainty to help regain our focus. We grow comfortable and complacent in what we see as having “arrived”. The irony is that we are always evolving thus we never truly “arrive”. We are always looking and working to better ourselves and our situation (at least we should be). For a mere 24 hours I allowed what was a blessing, to be overshadowed by a temporary disposition. In hindsight, I know that things aren’t always as they seem. In the moment it doesn’t feel good, but allow yourself time for it to process. Friends, today I task you with being reminded that God is the only constant in our lives. Just as we disappoint, others do also. But HE is ever forgiving, and we should be as well. If we want to be forgiven, we have to forgive also. I love you all, be blessed. Happy Friday!
Thursday’s Thoughts: Relationships
We all know that relationships can be hard work. Everybody has their own set of rules on when to do this and when to allow that. Do you give yourself a timeline when in relationship? What are your relationship timelines? Ex: When to get married? How long do you date before moving in? When is it appropriate to meet your kids? When is it okay to have sex? When do you call it quits? Join us tonight at 7pm as we go live and discuss relationships!
Better Days
It’s funny how we can have our days mapped out and decided yet God’s plan be SO different. Today marks the 1 year anniversary of my mother’s passing and my flesh had decided that I was going wallow in grief and despair. I allowed myself several hours in that space then remembered who I was, and most importantly whose I was. In my grief, I have ministered to more people than I could have ever imagined. Learning to remove self and be available to his calling. Today I’ve had an opportunity to reflect on my life and the path I’ve been on for nearly 42 years. You see God has been preparing me for these days all my life. My mother’s job was to ensure that I had the Godly foundation to survive them. Her job has been completed. I am grateful for all the memories and the tears that will continue to fall. I thank God for being blessed with such a jewel. For those of you feeling down and alone in your journey just know that God has not left you, in fact he’s closer than he’s ever been. I love you all, be blessed and be a blessing! Happy December 21st! ❤️ #ImOnAssignment #NuSeasn #BetterDays
